Thommy's Cartoon Wins International Contest
I am happy to inform that my entry tilted “Chemistry is Life and Everything” (IIIrd from left in the top row) has been selected as one of the winners of the International Contest titled “Everything is Chemistry” conducted by European Chemical Society to celebrate 2011 as the International Year of Chemistry and sponsored by UNESCO & IUPAC (International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry).
I thank everyone who encourage me to pursue my artistic intertes along with Science.

Dear Winners of the International Picture Contest “Everything is Chemistry”, We congratulate you for your great picture(s)! A jury of four persons (one member of each organization (JungChemikerForum, Vereinigung für Chemie und Wirtschaft and European Younger Chemists Network) and the president of the German Chemical Society) voted for every picture (in total 192 pictures) and your picture(s) are the best 12.
You will find the 12 pictures in the new calendar for the International Year of Chemistry 2011 (see attachment).
